Novotel London Canary Wharf

The 39-storey building is the world’s tallest Novotel hotel and the UK’s tallest all-hotel building. It is a modern purpose-built hotel and the public areas in the lobby, bars and restaurant have a hip industrial-themed decor that is inspired by the Dockland’s maritime history while the decor inside the rooms is a more neutral modern design.

All the hotel’s 313 rooms have comfortable beds, a sofa, a work desk, a flat-screen television, a small fridge/minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. Most rooms at this hotel are 21m² (226 sq ft), although the wheelchair-accessible rooms are slightly more roomy at 25m² (269 sq ft).

The hotel’s 37 suites offer more space with separate sleeping and living areas.

The hotel’s bars and restaurants are located on the top three floors of the building. These include the 37th-floor BOKAN 37 restaurant as well as bars on the 38th and 39th floors that include a stunning open rooftop area. The bars and restaurants feature a menu with modern European cuisine as well as brilliant views of both The City and the Docklands.

The hotel also has the Le Club Lounge, an exclusive area reserved for Platnum and Ultimate members of the ALL Accor Live Limitless loyalty programme.

Guests also have access to a gym and swimming pool and the hotel’s business facilities include nine meeting rooms.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Novotel London Canary Wharf is one of the better-located hotels in London’s Docklands. It is near the waterfront at South Dock with plenty of places to eat, drink and shop nearby.

Canary Wharf tube station is around a 10-minute walk from here and South Quay and Heron Quays DLR stations are a little closer. From Canary Wharf station, the Jubilee line will take you to Westminster in 11 minutes and Bond Street in 15 minutes with trains running every 2–3 minutes.
