Despite being called the Premier Inn Blackpool (Beach), this Premier Inn hotel is not on the beach and is instead located next to a petrol station in a residential neighbourhood around a 12-minute walk from the seafront.

It is around 2.4km (1½ miles) south of the town centre and around 800m (½ mile) inland from Pleasure Beach. From here, it is a 12-minute walk to Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Waterpark and South Pier. The closest tram stops are Pleasure Beach and South Pier, which are both a 12-minute walk away, and it is a six-minute walk to Blackpool South railway station.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and it usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
