Premier Inn Hastings

Rooms at the Hastings Premier Inn feature a king-size Hypnos bed and a comfortable chair (twin rooms have a double bed and a chaise longue/sofa bed), a writing desk, flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. All rooms have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access (up to 1GB per day).

The hotel also features The Windmill (a Brewer’s Fayre pub/restaurant) which is a family-friendly pub with a mostly casual menu. It is open for breakfast and dinner.

Feedback from other customers suggests that this hotel is not quite up to the same standard as other hotels in the Premier Inn chain. It has been described as dated with old mattresses and poor quality furnishings and cleanliness could also be improved. However, it still offers a great value accommodation option even if there is room for improvement.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.

This hotel is located on the busy A21 road 5km (3 miles) north of central Hastings. It is not the greatest location as it is a long way from the seafront and the town centre but it is on the way to Battle, which is 6.5km (4 miles) away, and staying here is much better value than staying in Battle.

There is not a lot in the immediate area apart from a big Sainsbury’s supermarket, a McDonald’s restaurant and a couple of car dealerships. There is a bus stop a short distance up the road (near Sainsbury’s) and the trip into the centre of Hastings takes around 15 minutes although buses are not particularly frequent on this route.

However, if you are travelling by car, it is less than a 10-minute drive to either Battle or Hastings town centre and the hotel has free on-site parking.
