Premier Inn London Brentford

Rooms at the Premier Inn London Brentford feature a king-size Hypnos bed and a comfortable chair (twin rooms have a double bed and a chaise longue/sofa bed), a writing desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. The bathroom has a bathtub with a showerhead above it rather than a proper walk-in shower. All rooms have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access (up to 1GB per day).

The hotel also features the Thyme Bar & Grill, which has an international menu with mostly casual options. The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner.

The hotel is a modern 11-storey building near the Brentford Adagio and Novotel hotels and next to the busy M4 motorway. Many rooms on higher floors have motorway views. Although the location next to an elevated concrete motorway is not particularly appealing, the neighbourhood picks up considerably as soon as you walk south from the hotel. There are a couple of pizza places and a kebab shop across the road and a small Sainsbury’s Local convenience store just a three-minute walk from the hotel and a couple of pubs within a five-minute walk.

Other than this, there is not a lot nearby, although the London Museum of Water and Steam and the Musical Museum are both a 15-minute walk from the hotel and you can walk to Kew Gardens and Syon House in around half an hour.

The hotel is around an eight-minute walk to Brentford railway station, which has four trains per hour to London Waterloo. The journey to Waterloo takes 34 minutes, which places this hotel within easy commuting distance of Central London.

There also several bus routes that stop nearby including routes 65 and N65 that run between Ealing Broadway and Kingston with stops en route at Kew Gardens and Richmond. This bus runs every four to eight minutes during the day and every half hour throughout the night and it is particularly handy if you want to visit Kew Gardens.

Car parking is available but it costs £10 per night.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and it usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
