The hotel is in the centre of Dalston, a vibrant neighbourhood near Hackney in East London. There are plenty of shops and places to eat and drink nearby and prices are reasonable as it is in an area that doesn’t get many tourists.

It is only a one-minute walk from Dalston Junction station and a five-minute walk from Dalston Kingsland station, which are part of the Overground network. Both stations are in zone two. Although it is well connected to public transport, the Overground lines that run through here do not go into central London, which means that you need to change to the tube to get into the city centre.

From either of these two stations, you can get to Highbury & Islington, where you can change to the Victoria line, in under 10 minutes and from Dalston Junction it is only a nine-minute ride to Whitechapel where you can change for the District and Hammersmith & City lines. It is relatively easy to get to destinations in North and East London and from Dalston Kingsland, you can get to Camden Town by train in under 10 minutes and from Dalston Junction, it is only a seven-minute journey to Shoreditch.

Bus route 149 is generally the easiest and quickest route into The City with a journey time of 25 minutes and buses running every 4–7 minutes. Bus 38 is a better option if you’re going into the West End and this bus takes around 40 minutes with services running every 2–6 minutes.

This hotel does not have any on-site parking.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and it usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
