Premier Inn Oxford Cowley

Rooms at the Oxford Premier Inn feature a king-size Hypnos bed and a comfortable chair (twin rooms have a double bed and a chaise longue/sofa bed), a writing desk, flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. All rooms have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access (up to 1GB per day).

The hotel also features a Beefeater restaurant, which has a menu centred around meat (particularly beef). The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Like other hotels in the Premier Inn chain, this hotel is clean and well maintained offering a great value accommodation option but it is somewhat lacking in character.

This hotel has a suburban location in Cowley near the intersection of Garsington Road and the Eastern By-Pass Road. It is 4.8km (3 miles) from the city centre. Oxford Bus Company bus T1 stops on Garsington Road outside the hotel but if you walk around eight minutes up the road to The Original Swan pub there is a much bigger choice of bus routes including buses run by Stagecoach.

There is free parking on site, making this hotel a good option if you’re driving. As it can be difficult to find parking in central Oxford we recommend leaving your car at the hotel and taking a bus to the city centre.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
