Travelodge Blackpool South Promenade

All rooms at the Travelodge Blackpool South Promenade hotel have comfortable king-size beds, a television, a work desk, tea and coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a shower.

Unlike most other hotels, only your first 30 minutes of Wi-Fi wireless internet is free. If you need more internet you have to pay £3 for 24 hours.

Although this is a budget hotel, prices can fluctuate depending on demand and it can be more expensive to stay here during peak periods. Furthermore, the location close to Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterpark means that it is more expensive than the average Travelodge, despite Blackpool being one of the cheapest towns to stay in the UK.

The hotel has a great location if you’ve come to Blackpool for its theme parks as it only takes a couple of minutes to walk to either Pleasure Beach Resort and Sandcastle Waterpark. Other nearby attractions include Ripley’s Believe it or Not! and South Pier, which are both less than a five-minute walk away. However, its location at the southern end of the Promenade means that Blackpool Tower and the town centre are farther away, although the Pleasure Beach tram stop is just a four-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to get to other parts of Blackpool.

Parking is available but it costs £8.50 for 24 hours.
