Travelodge London Wembley High Road

Travelodge London Wembley High Road has recently been updated to feature Travelodge’s new interior design, which makes this hotel a nicer place to stay than the average Travelodge.

Rooms at the Travelodge London Wembley High Road are a mix of double and family rooms. All rooms include comfortable king-size beds, a television, a work desk, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a shower. There are also some wheelchair-accessible rooms available.

This hotel also has Standard Room Plus rooms, which are a small upgrade over standard rooms and include a pod espresso coffee machine. These rooms are also located on the hotel’s quietest floor and include free Wi-Fi internet access.

Unlike most other hotels, only your first 30 minutes of Wi-Fi wireless internet is free (unless you’re staying in a Standard Room Plus). If you need more internet you have to pay £3 for 24 hours.

Although this is a budget hotel, prices can fluctuate depending on demand and it can be more expensive staying here when there is an event on at the nearby Wembley Stadium although in most cases this hotel is a cheaper alternative to more centrally-located hotels.

This Travelodge is on Wembley High Road directly above Wembley Central station. There are plenty of shops nearby as well as cafes, restaurants and pubs. From the hotel, it is around a 20-minute walk to Wembley Stadium and there are also buses running between the hotel and the stadium every three minutes or so.

Wembley Central is a major station in zone four that is served by Underground, Overground and regular suburban train services. Tube trains on the Bakerloo line run every 10 minutes and the journey to Oxford Circus takes half an hour. There are also four trains per hour to London Euston (one of these is an express service and the other three stop at all stations).

Travelodges in Great Britain, Ireland and Spain are a separate business to the Travelodge hotels that operate in Canada and the USA (which are run by Wyndham) and the Travelodge hotel chain in Australia and New Zealand (which is part of TFE Hotels). Although all Travelodge hotels worldwide serve the same ‘quality budget’ end of the market, if you’re used to Travelodge hotels in Australia, New Zealand or North America their hotels in the UK may be a little different to what you are used to.
