The Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery in Carlisle has exhibits on local history including extensive displays about Hadrian’s Wall as well as exhibits about Cumbria in Roman times, the Dark Ages and the medieval period. There is also an art gallery with a large collection of decorative and fine arts.
