The four-star voco Reading hotel is one of Reading’s better hotels, although its location around 4km (2½ miles) south of the town centre is only convenient if you’re visiting Reading to see a football match at Madejski Stadium.

Apart from the stadium, there is a big retail park in the immediate vicinity that has a few fast food outlets, furniture stores and a big B&Q hardware store. Local bus route 53 runs into the town centre every 10 minutes and stops at the railway station.
Free car parking and easy access from the M4 motorway make this a good accommodation option for motorists.
