Warwick Castle Tower Suites

Warwick Castle Tower Suites is a unique luxury accommodation option inside Warwick Castle’s 14th-century Caesar’s Tower.

It is an exclusive, but a pricey, place to stay with just two suites: the Rose and the Peacock suites. Both suites offer a luxury accommodation experience with comfortable hand-carved four-poster beds, a writing desk, an additional sitting area with a small dining table, a big flatscreen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms.

The interior decor is in a medieval style, which is in keeping with the historic nature of the castle. It features a sandstone wall, Jacobean-style oak furniture. The 14th-century tower has seen plenty of history and past ‘guests’ have included Edward IV, who was imprisoned here by the Earl of Warwick in 1469.

While some people may find Windsor Castle to be somewhat tacky in comparison to castles and stately homes run by other organisations such as English Heritage or the National Trust, the decor and attention to detail in the Warwick Castle Tower Suites is done with much greater attention to detail and it offers a much more authentic experience than you may expect.

Access to the two suites is via a spiral staircase, which means that it is not wheelchair accessible. However, it’s a great place to stay if money’s no object, you don’t mind climbing stairs and you’re looking for the ultimate Warwick Castle experience. As a bonus, you can experience the castle without the crowds of tourists that can spoil the experience during the daytime.

Breakfast is served in one of the castle’s staterooms and there are several other places to eat and drink at Warwick Castle; however, none of these restaurants remain open after the castle has closed to the public.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in both suites.

It is very expensive, but it may just be worth it if you’re looking for a special experience for a once-in-a-lifetime trip. The price of your night’s accommodation also includes two days admission to the castle (the day before and the day after your stay), free parking at the Stables car park (the more centrally-located of the castle’s car parks), a free private tour of the castle (after it has closed to the public), a card that gives you free dining during daylight hours at any of the castle’s restaurants and a bottle of champagne on arrival.
