Bailbrook House Hotel

The hotel has 88 air-conditioned guest rooms with rooms in the mansion house offering more character while rooms in the adjoining Bailbrook Court building offering a more contemporary decor. All rooms have comfortable Hypnos beds, a work desk, a small sitting area, a flatscreen television, ironing facilities, a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.

Rooms are fairly spacious ranging from 19.1m² to 34m² and suites range from 29.4m² to 52.6m².

The hotel has fairly extensive dining areas including a restaurant, al fresco dining areas, three Royal Lounges and the Conservatory Bar. The Cloisters restaurant is an intimate space with vaulted ceilings and a menu focusing on modern British cuisine from locally sourced ingredients.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotel is in a residential area on the outskirts of Bath, around 3km (2 miles) northeast of the city centre and it would have been a country house at the time the older of the hotel’s two buildings was built. Because of this, it is not a particularly convenient location and there is not much of interest in the immediate area around the hotel.

However, it is within walking distance to the city centre and there are frequent buses into town. From here it is around a 45-minute walk into the city centre, although it is not the most pleasant walk. Alternatively, you can catch a bus or drive into town. It is less than a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute bus ride to Bath’s city centre.

The hotel’s location means that it is best suited if you’re driving and free on-site parking is available.
