Best Western Plus Dover Marina Hotel

Guest rooms at the Best Western Plus Dover Marina all have comfortable beds, a work desk, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. Rooms have a traditional decor that is in keeping with the historic nature of the building; however, some people may find that it looks a little dated.

The hotel has several good dining options including restaurants run by celebrity chef, Marco Pierre White. Although, these are part of a chain so you’re unlikely to catch a glimpse of Marco Pierre coming out of the kitchen. These include Mr Wheeler’s Fish and Chips and Mr White’s English Chophouse, which has a meat centred menu of English classics prepared using French techniques. The hotel also features the Waterfront Bar & Lounge, where you can enjoy a drink and a light meal. Afternoon tea is also available at the hotel.

The hotel is located by the seafront in the historic old town, which is one of the nicer areas of Dover. The front of the hotel faces the English Channel and the rear of the hotel backs onto the De Bradelei Wharf outlet shopping centre. From here, it is less than a five-minute walk into the town centre and most points of interest in central Dover are not much more than a 15-minute walk from the hotel.
