The hotel has 66 air-conditioned guest rooms, all with comfortable beds, a work desk, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and en suite bathrooms.

Standard rooms are 22m² (237 sq ft) and the superior pitch-view rooms are 27m² (290 sq ft). There is also a massive 83m² (893 sq ft) two-bedroom suite, which is a great option for families.

The superior pitch-view rooms are the star of the show at this hotel. These rooms have a brilliant view of the pitch so you could watch the game from the comfort of your room. Well, you would expect that would be the case but EFL and FA guidelines require that all guests staying in superior pitch-view rooms close their curtains 90 minutes prior to a home football match and throughout the remainder of the game.

The Corner Flag is the hotel’s bar and restaurant, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows offering a fantastic view of the pitch. The Corner Flag is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The hotel is part of the Radisson Individuals brand, meaning that you get the benefits of earning points and status in Radisson’s loyalty programme.

This could be a great place to stay if you were allowed to watch the match from the comfort of your own room but it may not be such a great place to stay if you follow the rules and draw the curtains, particularly considering that you’ll most likely be subject to the deafening roar of the crowd outside your room, making it difficult to enjoy any non football-related activity for the duration of the match.

The Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel is inside Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road stadium, which is less than a 10-minute walk from the Promenade, around midway between Central and South Piers. Although it’s not the most conveniently-located hotel in Blackpool, you are able to walk to Blackpool South railway station in 10 minutes and a 25-minute walk will take you to Blackpool Tower, Central Pier, Madame Tussauds, Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Waterpark, the SEA LIFE aquarium and South Pier.
