Both the restaurant and lounge bar are contemporary spaces that lack the charm that you will find elsewhere in Stratford-upon-Avon; however, they both offer access to an outdoor terrace that offers lovely views of the river.

The hotel is at the eastern edge of the town centre and it backs onto the River Avon and Bancroft Cruisers operate river cruises from their mooring next to the hotel. Most parts of the town centre are no more than a 10-minute walk from the hotel, although it is a little bit further if you want to walk to Halls Croft (12 minutes), the Holy Trinity Church (12 minutes) or Anne Hathaway’s Cottage (30 minutes).

It is one of the closest hotels to Stratford-upon-Avon’s coach station, which is only a few minutes’ walk away, although it is a 15-minute walk to the railway station.
