This modern upmarket hotel has 171 air-conditioned guest bedrooms. Each room comes with a comfortable bed, a work desk, a flat-screen television, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and an en-suite bathroom. The hotel also has a junior suite, which offers a much larger living area with a dining table and sofa.

The hotel’s restaurant and bar, 14Twelve, has a menu that includes steak and pizza as well as other options such as salads and pasta. There is also a branch of Starbucks Coffee near the hotel reception. Room service is available 24 hours.

The hotel is located on the southwestern edge of Swindon and this inconvenient location ensures that it is much cheaper than many other hotels in the Doubletree by Hilton chain. It can be a particularly good value place to stay if you’re visiting Swindon on a weekend or at another time that is off-peak for the business traveller clientele that this hotel usually caters for.

The hotel is just off junction 16 of the M4 motorway in a cluster of hotels that also includes a Holiday Inn Express and a Premier Inn. Other than the other two hotels and the nearby Costa Coffee and Subway, there is not much else in the immediate area, although it is close to the Windmill Hill business park which may be handy if you’re visiting Swindon on business.

From here it is around a 10–15-minute drive into the town centre. If you’re not driving, it is around an eight-minute walk from the closest bus stop (at Blagrove Roundabout), which has buses into the town centre every 20 minutes.

Car parking is available at the hotel but it costs £3 per night.
