The hotel also has a bar and lounge area where the buffet breakfast, which is included in your room rate, is served every morning. Although the bar is open in the evening, breakfast is the only meal that is served here.

The location on the edge of town means that there are not many other places to eat and drink nearby other than the Beefeater restaurant inside the nearby Premier Inn hotel, a Subway, a Costa Coffee and the bar and restaurant inside the nearby Doubletree by Hilton. All these options are between a five- and a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

There is free wired internet access in all rooms, but Wi-Fi wireless internet access is only free for IHG Rewards members. It is free to join the IHG loyalty programme and free Wi-Fi is available to all members, even those on the entry-level tier.

This hotel is located at the southwestern edge of Swindon just off junction 16 of the M4 motorway. There is a cluster of hotels here, which also includes a Doubletree by Hilton and a Premier Inn. Other than the other two hotels and the nearby Costa Coffee and Subway, there is not much else in the immediate area, although it is close to the Windmill Hill business park which may be handy if you’re visiting Swindon on business.

It is around a 10–15-minute drive into the town centre. If you’re not driving, it is around an eight-minute walk from the closest bus stop (at Blagrove Roundabout), which has buses into the town centre every 20 minutes.

Free on-site parking is available at this hotel, making it a good option if you’re driving.
