Rooms at the Premier Inn Swindon West are a mix of double, twin and family rooms. Rooms feature a king-size Hypnos bed and a comfortable chair, a writing desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. All rooms have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access (up to 1GB per day).

The hotel also features a Beefeater restaurant, which has a meat-centred menu with a focus on beef. The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner.

Like other hotels in the Premier Inn chain, this hotel is clean and well maintained offering a great value accommodation option but it is somewhat lacking in character.

This hotel is located at the southwestern edge of Swindon just off junction 16 of the M4 motorway. There is a cluster of hotels here, which also includes a Doubletree by Hilton and a Holiday Inn Express. Other than the other two hotels and the nearby Costa Coffee and Subway, there is not much else in the immediate area, although it is close to the Windmill Hill business park which may be handy if you’re visiting Swindon on business.

It is around a 10–15-minute drive into the town centre. If you’re not driving, it is around a 12-minute walk from the closest bus stop (at Blagrove Roundabout), which has buses into the town centre every 20 minutes.

Free on-site parking is available at this hotel, making it a good option if you’re driving.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
