Exeter has two mainline train stations. Central Station in the city centre is the most convenient but more trains stop at Exeter St David’s Station.

Exeter Central Station is on the West of England line with trains to Salisbury, Basingstoke and London Waterloo and trains on the branch line to Exmouth also stop here.
