Future Inn Cabot Circus

The hotel’s 149 guest rooms all feature comfortable beds, a small work desk, a sofa, a flatscreen television, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with bathrobes. There are some wheelchair-accessible rooms available.

There are only two other hotels in the Future Inn chain (one in Cardiff and the other in Plymouth). It is aimed at business travellers who don’t need the frills offered by fancy four-star hotels but who want to stay somewhere that is a step up from a Premier Inn.

The hotel has its own on-site bar and restaurant. The Chophouse restaurant has an international menu that includes fish and chips, steak and curries. Although the restaurant isn’t too bad, there is no reason to eat here as the hotel’s location across the road from Cabot Circus means that you have an excellent selection of places to eat and drink on your doorstep.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotel is on a busy dual carriageway at the northeastern corner of the city centre, right across the road from Cabot Circus shopping centre. With the city centre’s main shopping district right across the road, the location is brilliant with most of the city centre within easy walking distance. However, the main tourist attractions on the harbourfront are at least a 20-minute walk from the hotel.

Although the hotel doesn’t have its own car park, hotel guests can park for free at the nearby Cabot Circus car park. This is a major drawcard for many of the hotel’s guests as a city centre hotel with free parking is a rarity anywhere in the United Kingdom, let alone Bristol which is noted for its fairly pricey city-centre parking.
