Headingley Lodge

It is a relatively small hotel with only 36 guest rooms. All rooms have comfortable beds, a work desk, a small seating area, a flatscreen television, a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. Rooms are a mix of double, twin and family rooms and some of the family rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in the rooms.

There is not much in the way of amenities outside your own room; however, there are plenty of places to eat and drink around a five-minute walk away.

This hotel is a top choice if you’re a cricket fan visiting on a matchday as the pitch-facing rooms give you the best seat in the ground. Although prices go up on match days, you save by not needing to buy a ticket to see the game.

Headingley Lodge is located inside Headingley Cricket Ground, which is 3.5km (2¼ miles) northwest of Leeds city centre. Although it’s not particularly central, the location is handy if you want to see a cricket match at Headingley (or if you want to visit the Yorkshire County Cricket Club Official Museum) and it is only a five-minute walk to the shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs on nearby North Lane and Otley Road.

Buses into the city centre stop a three-minute walk away on Cardigan Road and there are more frequent buses a six-minute walk away on Otley Road. Burley Park railway station is an 11-minute walk from the museum.

Free car parking is available, although it is not possible to park directly outside Headingley Lodge on match days.
