It is a modern five-storey hotel with 138 guest rooms, which all have comfortable beds, a work desk, a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. Some of the rooms are wheelchair accessible.

The Express Cafe & Bar is the modern bar and lounge near the hotel’s reception area where the Express Start buffet breakfast, which is included in your room rate, is served every morning. You can also enjoy lunch and dinner at the hotel’s bar/restaurant.

There is free wired internet access in all rooms, but Wi-Fi wireless internet access is only free for IHG One Rewards members. It is free to join the IHG loyalty programme and free Wi-Fi is available to all members, even those on the entry-level tier.

The hotel is located on the A38 (Taunton Road) on the southern outskirts of Bridgwater. It is right across the road from the Premier Inn Bridgwater Gateway hotel and there is a pub (the White Willow) just across from the hotel’s car park. Other than this, the immediate vicinity around the hotel is characterised by car dealerships, warehouses and light industry so it is not a particularly charming area. However, it is handy if you’re driving as it is close to the Huntworth Interchange (junction 25) of the M5 motorway and you can drive into the town centre in around six minutes. The hotel has its own car park with ample parking spaces.

If you don’t have a car, you can catch bus routes 21 or 21A into the town centre (buses run every half hour) or you can walk into the centre in around 40 minutes.
