The 16-storey Holiday Inn hotel near the MediaCityUK television studios in Salford Quays in suburban Manchester is a comfortable place to stay and is one of the better-located hotels in the MediaCityUK and Salford Quays area.
The 218 hotel rooms all feature comfortable beds, a flat-screen television, a work desk, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite bathrooms with rainfall showers.
Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White runs Marco’s New York Italian restaurant on the hotel’s ground floor and the bar near the hotel’s reception area is a nice spot for a drink.

It is one of the better-located hotels in the Salford Quays area and it is very close to the BBC and ITV television studios and there is a Booths supermarket plus bars and restaurants nearby. IWM North, The Lowry and the Lowry Outlet Centre are only a five-minute walk from the hotel. It is only a two-minute walk to the MediaCityUK Metrolink tram stop, which has trams into central Manchester including direct services to Manchester Piccadilly railway station.
