The hub by Premier Inn London Spitalfields Brick Lane hotel is a modern hotel offering good value accommodation in a central location right in the centre of world-famous Brick Lane.
Hub by Premier Inn is a slightly different concept to standard Premier Inn hotels. The rooms are smaller and there is a higher emphasis placed on technology and clever design to make the most of the smaller living space.
Guest rooms all have comfortable Hypnos beds with under-bed storage, a 40″ flatscreen smart TV, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a powerful shower and hairdryer. There are also some larger rooms, which cost a little more and have larger beds.
The hotel has its own cafe bar, Proven Dough Deli & Bar, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A limited breakfast menu operates in the morning and a full menu is served between 11am and 10pm. However, the location on Brick Lane means that you also have plenty of other dining options available to you.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.
Although it is not as cheap as hotels outside Central London, it is remarkably good value considering its central location.
Hub by Premier Inn hotels are generally located in more central locations than standard Premier Inn hotels and this is no exception.
The hotel is located right in the heart of Brick Lane, which is a vibrant street famous for its Bangladeshi restaurants. There is an excellent choice of places to eat and drink nearby and Spitalfields Market and the Truman Brewery Market are both less than a five-minute walk from the hotel.
Brick Lane runs through the East End neighbourhood of Spitalfields, which is bordered by Whitechapel to the south, Shoreditch to the north and The City of London to the west and all of these areas are within easy walking distance from the hotel.
It is not much more than a five-minute walk into The City of London and a 25-minute walk will take in many of the top attractions in The City including the Bank of England Museum, Guildhall Art Gallery, the City of London Police Museum, the Gherkin, the Monument, the Sky Garden, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
Although the hotel does not have a car park, its location is ideal if you’re travelling by public transport. Aldgate East tube station is only a five-minute walk away and Aldgate tube station and Shoreditch Overground station are both less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Both Liverpool Street and Whitechapel stations are not much more than a 10-minute walk so there is easy access to the Elizabeth line and trains to Stansted and Southend Airports.
