Hyatt House London Stratford

The Hyatt House London Stratford (formerly known as the Staybridge Suites London Stratford City) hotel is an apartment hotel that is ideal for families and people who want a little more space. Its Stratford location means that it is a better value option than staying in Central London.

Accommodation consists of 162 apartments over 12 floors. These are spacious units that include comfortable king-size beds, a work desk, a small kitchen with a hob, microwave oven, fridge and dishwasher, a lounge area with a flat-screen television and en suite bathrooms. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and offer panoramic views of East London and the Olympic stadium. Nine of the apartments are wheelchair accessible.

It has a contemporary (but not totally modern) decor with a homely feel that is makes it feel like a home away from home for its regular and longer-term guests.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel, although there is a £7 fee for faster premium internet.

Hyatt House London Stratford shares a building with a Hyatt Regency hotel. It is located at the Westfield Stratford shopping centre, which is London’s second-largest (and the UK’s fourth-largest) shopping centre. The location at a major shopping centre means that there are plenty of places to shop, eat and drink nearby although it is a somewhat soulless environment.

It is wedged between Stratford and Stratford International stations and has excellent transport links into Central London. These two stations have excellent transport connections to Central London, which means that you can be in The City in just 10 minutes with almost one train going into Central London every minute.

Stratford is the busier of these two stations. It is a busy hub for DLR, Overground, Underground, the Elizabeth line, suburban and regional trains. There are tube trains every two minutes into Central London on the Central and Jubilee lines and there are 13 trains per hour direct to Liverpool Street station.

Stratford is also well situated if you need to get to some of London’s smaller airports with a direct DLR link to London City Airport, direct trains to Southend Airport and National Express coaches to Stansted Airport.
