ibis Brighton City Centre

The ibis Brighton City Centre hotel is a good value accommodation option close to Brighton railway station. Most points of interest in Brighton are within walking distance but it is best located for visiting North Laine and the city centre.

It is a modern multi-storey building offering accommodation in 140 clean and well-maintained air-conditioned rooms. All rooms have comfortable beds, a work desk, a flatscreen television, space to hang your clothes, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. The rooms here are compact with standard double rooms starting at 16m² (172 sq ft) although twin and family rooms are slightly roomier.

Some wheelchair-accessible rooms are available.

Like many newer ibis hotels, there is an area near the ground floor area where you will find the hotel’s bar and restaurant as well as the hotel reception. The in-house restaurant has an international menu and it is open throughout the day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotel has a central location in the North Laine neighbourhood at the northern end of the city centre. All the attractions of North Laine are no more than a five- to 10-minute walk away, the railway station and the Toy and Model Museum are just a one-minute walk from the hotel, the Brighton Dome and the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery are a 10-minute walk away, the Royal Pavilion is a 15-minute walk and it is a 20-minute walk to the pier and the attractions of Brighton’s seafront.

Its close proximity to the railway station is a big attraction for many of the hotel’s guests. It is only a one-minute walk to the station and from here you can catch frequent trains that will take you to Gatwick Airport in around half an hour or London in 1–1½ hours (depending on which London station you are going to).
