London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale

The London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale Hotel is a modern four-star hotel in Maida Vale in northwest London. It is a good option if you want to stay in a high-end hotel close to central London but without the added expense of staying right in the heart of the city centre.

The hotel has 228 guest rooms and 11 suites over eight floors. All rooms have comfortable beds, a small sitting area, a work desk, a flat-screen television, ironing facilities, a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. Six of the rooms are adapted for guests with disabilities.

Most guest rooms are 25m² (269 sq ft), although some executive rooms are 32m² (344 sq ft) and suites start at 55m² (592 sq ft).

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in the hotel’s public areas but there is an additional £15 per day charge for in-room Wi-Fi.

The hotel is located in a pleasant neighbourhood in northwest London and it is just a short walk to Kilburn High Road, which has a good selection of local shops. There is also a good choice of places to eat and drink nearby including a Persian restaurant and a nice pub (the Queen’s Arms) right across the road.

Although there are not a lot of tourist attractions in the immediate area, you can walk to the Abbey Road pedestrian crossing (from The Beatles’ Abbey Road album) in around 15 minutes and Lord’s Cricket Ground and the Freud Museum are both a 25-minute walk away.

Kilburn Park tube station (in zone two on the Bakerloo line) is a six-minute walk from the hotel. From here it is a five-minute journey to Paddington and 13 minutes to Oxford Circus with trains running every three minutes.

Kilburn High Road station is closer, only a three-minute walk from the hotel, but it is only served by Overground trains. However, Kilburn High Road is a convenient option if you want to get to Euston, which is an 11-minute ride away with trains running every 15 minutes.

On-site car parking is available for £30 per day.
