The 59 hotel rooms all have comfortable beds, a flat-screen television, a work desk, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms.

The hotel has plenty of character. The interior decor highlights the historic nature of the Victorian era building and the public areas feature a grand piano, oil paintings and antique furniture. While this traditional decor adds to the ambiance of the hotel’s public areas, it does tend to make the guest rooms look a little dated.

Although there are not a lot of tourist attractions within the immediate area, you can walk from here to the Freud Museum in around 10 minutes and it is around a 15-minute walk to Primrose Hill, which is a great picnic spot with lovely views of London.

Although it is a little bit out of town, it has excellent public transport connections into Central London. It is only a two-minute walk to Swiss Cottage tube station (on the Jubilee line in zone two), which is only two stops (four minutes) from Baker Street and three stops (six minutes) from Bond Street with trains running every two minutes.

If you are flying in or out of Luton or Stansted Airports, it is only a 10-minute walk to a spot where you can catch a direct National Express coach to either of these two airports.
