Matlock railway station

Matlock lies at the terminus of the Derwent Valley line with trains to Derby and Nottingham. Matlock railway station is located just south of the River Derwent from the town centre.

East Midlands Trains run from Matlock to Nottingham, stopping at Matlock Bath and Derby en route, with an hourly service Monday to Saturday and trains every two hours on Sundays.

The station is also the terminus for the Peak Rail heritage railway that goes to Darley Dale.

Matlock railway station is an unstaffed station so you’ll need to buy your tickets from the ticket machine or buy your ticket onboard the train.
