The hotel’s 48 guest rooms all have comfortable beds, a flatscreen TV, a work desk, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom.

Rooms are compact ranging from the tiny 6m² (65 sq ft) single room and even the largest room, the luxury suite, is only 25m² (269 sq ft). Most double rooms range from 9m² (96 sq ft) to 14m² (150 sq ft).

The hotel’s interior decor has been described as ‘east meets west’ with some rooms featuring an Asian design aesthetic while other rooms have a more traditional European design.

Although it is a relatively small hotel, there are several nice common areas including a nice garden area with outdoor seating and a nice lounge area.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The Mayflower Hotel is on Trebovir Road, a residential street that runs parallel to Earls Court tube station (the station is a two-minute walk from the hotel).

The hotel’s proximity to Earls Court Tube station (on the District and Piccadilly lines) means that you can quickly get to other areas of London. From here you can get to South Kensington in four minutes, Kings Cross St Pancras in 20 minutes, Piccadilly Circus in 12 minutes and Westminster in 13 minutes. The Piccadilly line also serves as a direct link to Heathrow Airport with a journey time of around 35 minutes.

The location means that it is best suited if you’re travelling by public transport but car parking is available for £25 per night.

Earls Court is a popular area for hotels and there is a good choice of places to eat and drink along Earls Court Road and it is within easy walking distance to most of the main points of interest in Kensington.

Nearby attractions include the Design Museum, Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Chelsea Football Club Museum at Stamford Bridge stadium, which are all within a 25-minute walk from the hotel.
