Megabus stop (Birmingham)

Rated 2.5 out of 5

Megabus coaches stop at the bus stop on Brunel Street between Swallow Street and Navigation Street.

In stark contrast to the fancy National Express coach station, the Megabus stop is just a basic bus stop on the street without anywhere to sit. At least the Megabus stop is centrally located in Birmingham city centre. It is across the road from the Town Hall Carpark and just a short walk from Birmingham New Street railway station with a Sainsbury’s Local nearby.

Although the stop doesn’t have the amenities that you would expect from a major coach station, it is still a relatively major stop for Megabus and there are usually Megabus staff on hand to assist with questions about coach departures and arrivals.

Megabus coaches run from Birmingham to Aberdeen, Aviemore, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Cwmbran, Dundee, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Inverness, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Oban, Oxford, Perth, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Preston, Rugby, Sheffield, Southampton, Sunderland and Swansea.

    Safety concerns

Having lived near this location for a number of years, on a personal level i never found myself anything untoward happen here, its a high trafic area both pedestrian and vehicular, one of the ups of the location is a shop or two to garner some sustenance for your journey. Happy travles😎🤔👍
