Penzance railway station

Penzance railway station is the terminus of the Cornish Main Line from Plymouth and several of the United Kingdom’s longest train routes terminate here including the UK’s longest train journey, which starts in Aberdeen and takes almost 13½ hours. This station is served by trains operated by CrossCountry and GWR.

From Penzance, there are direct trains to Aberdeen, Birmingham New Street, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, London Paddington, Manchester Piccadilly and Plymouth. In addition to the UK’s longest train journey, Penzance is also the terminus of the Night Riviera, the only remaining sleeper train to operate wholly within England.

The most frequent service is the stopping service to Plymouth, which usually runs twice per hour; however, long-distance services operate less frequently.
