The guest rooms at the Premier Inn Canterbury City Centre hotel are a mix of double, twin and family rooms. All rooms feature comfortable Hypnos beds, a writing desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. Some wheelchair-accessible rooms are also available.

Like other hotels in the Premier Inn chain, this hotel is clean and well maintained offering a great value accommodation option but it is somewhat lacking in character.

The hotel is located southwest of Canterbury city centre across the road from a Waitrose supermarket. Both the city centre and St Augustine’s Abbey are only a five-minute walk from the hotel and most other points of interest are within easy walking distance including the Beaney House of Knowledge, Canterbury Cathedral and the Roman Museum, which are all within a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

The bus station is around a six-minute walk from the hotel, Canterbury East railway station is an 11-minute walk and Canterbury West station is a 20-minute walk away.

The hotel has eight car parking spaces, which cost £8 per night.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and it usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
