Premier Inn Salisbury North Bishopdown

Rooms at the Premier Inn North Bishopdown feature a king-size Hypnos bed and a comfortable chair (twin rooms have a double bed and a chaise longue/sofa bed), a writing desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. The bathroom has a bathtub with a showerhead above it rather than a proper walk-in shower. All rooms have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access (up to 1GB per day).

It is a quiet location at the northern edge of Salisbury with a large park across the road and the River Bourne passing by the rear of the hotel. However, there is not much within walking distance of the hotel and the hotel restaurant is the only dining option within easy walking distance. Local buses stop just south of the Hampton Park Roundabout and the bus ride into the city centre takes around eight minutes or so.

The location isn’t so great if you are relying on public transport but it is a great option if you’re driving as there is plenty of free parking at the hotel.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and it usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
