Salisbury has excellent rail connections with London and destinations in Wiltshire, Hampshire and the west of England.
The most frequent services are to London Waterloo and Southampton Central, with two train services per hour, and there is an hourly service to Bath Spa, Bristol Temple Meads, Cardiff Central, Exeter St Davids and Portsmouth Harbour.
Salisbury is served by South West Trains and GWR with the most services operated by South West Trains.
The station has a couple of small coffee shops but it’s not far to walk for a larger choice of places to eat and drink in the city centre.
It is located at the western end of the city centre and most points of interest within the city centre are within a 10-minute walk and it is between a 10- and a 15-minute walk to Salisbury Cathedral and the attractions in the Cathedral Close.
