Rooms at the Premier Inn Stratford Upon Avon Waterways are a mix of double, twin and family rooms. Rooms feature a king-size Hypnos bed and a comfortable chair, a writing desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom.

All rooms have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access (up to 1GB per day).

The hotel also features the Thyme Bar & Grill, which has an international menu with mostly casual options. The hotel’s bar and restaurant features nice outdoor seating with views of the canal and it is open for breakfast and dinner.

Like other hotels in the Premier Inn chain, this hotel is clean and well maintained offering a great value accommodation option but it is somewhat lacking in character.

The hotel is in an area that is comprised of residential mixed with car dealerships and shops selling home improvement products. There is a canal running alongside the hotel, which provides a nice outlook for some rooms on the southern side of the hotel and there is a McDonald’s restaurant next door that also overlooks the canal.

Although it is not the most charming neighbourhood, the hotel is conveniently located. From here, it is only a five-minute walk to the northwestern edge of the town centre and the Maybird Shopping Park is a five-minute walk in the other direction. It is an eight-minute walk to the railway station.

Car parking is available at this hotel but it costs £5 per 24-hour period.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and it usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
