RIBA North is a centre operated by the Royal Institute of British Architects that showcases architecture through a programme of exhibitions, walking tours and other events.
While it undergoes a £30 million refurbishment programme, Tate Liverpool is collaborating with RIBA North with joint exhibition programmes focusing on the convergence of art and architecture.
What to see at RIBA North
RIBA North functions as the official information centre for Liverpool’s UNESCO World Heritage status and there is a display about the city’s World Heritage Site that includes an interactive 3D model of the city.
The centre also hosts a programme of temporary exhibitions as well as walking tours that show different aspects of the city’s architecture.
