The Collection

Free

The Collection opened in 2005 as an amalgamation of the Usher Gallery and the City and County Museum creating a new county museum for Lincolnshire. The focus is on local Lincolnshire history from the Stone Age to the present day with exhibits that include Roman remains that were uncovered during the museum’s construction.

The museum also features art from the Usher Gallery’s collection that includes works by JMW Turner and LS Lowry.
