All the hotel rooms are double rooms that include comfortable king-size beds, a television, a work desk, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a shower.

Unlike most other hotels in the Manchester area, only your first 30 minutes of Wi-Fi wireless internet is free. If you need more internet you have to pay £3 for 24 hours.

Although this is classed as a budget hotel, prices can fluctuate depending on demand and it can be more expensive to stay here during peak periods. However, the cost to stay at this Travelodge is usually much better value than staying in similar hotels in central Manchester.

The suburban location means that this Travelodge is not as centrally located as other hotels in Manchester. It has an unattractive location on a busy road close to a large retail park, although there are a couple of pubs nearby including one right next door to the hotel.

The location next to a tram line and a busy road means that you may be able to hear some traffic noise inside your room.

The Metrolink tram line runs right outside and the hotel is close to the Ashton Moss tram stop, which is around a five-minute walk away. Trams take around 25 minutes to take you to Manchester city centre and they run every 12 minutes.

Free on-site parking is available at this hotel, making it a good option if you’re driving.
