Travelodge Blackpool South Shore

All rooms at the Travelodge Blackpool South Shore hotel have comfortable king-size beds, a television, a work desk, tea and coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a shower.

This hotel has been recently renovated with Travelodge’s new room design, which means that this hotel offers a superior standard of accommodation when compared with many other Travelodge hotels.

The hotel also has a small bar and restaurant, which is a great option if you don’t feel like leaving your hotel for something to eat and drink.

Unlike most other hotels, only your first 30 minutes of Wi-Fi wireless internet is free. If you need more internet you have to pay £3 for 24 hours.

Although this is a budget hotel, prices can fluctuate depending on demand and it can be more expensive staying here during peak periods although in most cases this hotel is a cheaper alternative to more centrally-located hotels.

This Travelodge is close to Blackpool Football Club’s Bloomfield Road stadium. It is less than a 10-minute walk from the Promenade, around midway between Central and South Piers. Although it’s not the most conveniently-located hotel in Blackpool, you are able to walk to Blackpool South railway station in 10 minutes and a 25-minute walk will take you to Blackpool Tower, Central Pier, Madame Tussauds, Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Waterpark, the SEA LIFE aquarium and South Pier.

If you’re looking at staying close to the stadium, you may also want to consider the Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel, which is right inside the stadium with some rooms offering views of the pitch.

Car parking is available but it costs £7.50 for 24 hours.
