This hotel has its own restaurant and bar, although it doesn’t have as much atmosphere as other places to eat and drink nearby.

Unlike most other hotels, only your first 30 minutes of Wi-Fi wireless internet is free. If you need more internet you have to pay £3 for 24 hours.

Although this is a budget hotel, prices can fluctuate depending on demand and it can be much more expensive staying here during peak periods although in most cases this hotel is a cheaper alternative to more centrally-located hotels.

The hotel is in the centre of Feltham, a suburb in the west of London with shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance.

It is just a short walk (about four minutes) to Feltham railway station (in zone six), which has six trains per hour to London Waterloo as well as direct trains to Windsor and Eton and Reading. The journey time to central London is around half an hour.

Several buses stop nearby including route 285 to Heathrow Airport, which operates 24 hours a day (with services every 10–14 minutes during the day and half-hourly late at night). The journey time to Heathrow is just over half an hour.

With direct buses to Heathrow Airport and direct trains to London and Windsor, this hotel could be a cheaper option than more centrally located hotels at Heathrow, London or Windsor. The savings could make the half-hour sitting on a train or bus well worth the effort.

There are over 500 Travelodge hotels in the United Kingdom. Travelodges in Great Britain, Ireland and Spain are a separate business to the Travelodge hotels that operate in Canada and the USA (which are run by Wyndham) and the Travelodge hotel chain in Australia and New Zealand (which is part of TFE Hotels). Although all Travelodge hotels worldwide serve the same ‘quality budget’ end of the market, if you’re used to Travelodge hotels in Australia, New Zealand or North America their hotels in the UK may be a little different to what you are used to.
