Travelodge Yeovil Podimore

Rooms at the Travelodge Yeovil Podimore are available as double and family rooms. All rooms include comfortable king-size beds, a television, a work desk, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with a shower. Some wheelchair accessible rooms are also available.

The rural location, and poor access by public transport, means that this hotel is really only suited if you’re driving. It is 13km (8 miles) north of Yeovil in a service area off the Podimore Roundabout, which also has a branch of Burger King, and from here it is around a 10-minute walk to Podimore village, which has a nice local pub, the Podymore Inn.

As long as you have a car, it is quite a handy base for exploring southern Somerset and you can drive to the centre of Yeovil or Street in around 15 minutes and it is around a 20-minute drive to Glastonbury. It is particularly handy if you want to visit the Fleet Air Arm Museum, which is a five-minute drive (or a 35-minute walk) away or the Haynes International Motor Museum, which is a 10-minute drive from the hotel.
