Warwick has two stations, Warwick railway station in the town centre and Warwick Parkway station near the M40 motorway, which is primarily used for park and ride services. Virtually all travellers visiting Warwick will alight at Warwick railway station.
Most services at Warwick railway station are operated by Chiltern Railways but during peak hours there are some trains run by West Midlands railway on their Leamington–Worcester service.
There are hourly services to Birmingham Moor Street and London Marylebone and trains every two hours to Stratford-upon-Avon.
It is a rather basic railway station when compared to stations in other historic towns.
