The De Vere Beaumont Estate is a grand hotel in a country estate at the southeastern edge of Old Windsor. It is not particularly central but is a lovely place to stay for a country retreat.

It is a large hotel with 414 guest rooms and a large business area set aside for conferences, meetings and functions. It is also a popular spot for weddings.

The hotel is set on expansive grounds that include a lovely 14th-century chapel that is often used for weddings.

The spacious guest rooms include comfortable beds, flat-screen televisions, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite bathrooms. All guests have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access.

Guest rooms have a contemporary design in contrast to the Victorian-era feel of the main reception area. Rooms do vary quite a bit and while recently renovated rooms are nice, there are quite a few areas of the hotel that feel a bit dated.

The hotel has two restaurants: 1705 Restaurant and Bar and Beaumont Restaurant, both get mixed reviews. The restaurants can get busy as there is not much else in the immediate neighbourhood, other than the nearby Bells of Ouzeley family pub/restaurant (part of the Harvester chain) which is an eight-minute walk from the hotel.

The hotel also has a fitness centre, swimming pool and tennis courts.

De Vere Beaumont Estate is at the southeastern extremity of Old Windsor and is relatively close to Runnymede, which is around a 15-minute walk from the hotel; however, it is a long way from central Windsor. The hotel is 5.2km (3¼ miles) from Windsor town centre, which is a 10-minute drive or a one-hour walk. Heathrow Airport and Legoland Windsor are both around a 15-minute drive from the hotel. It is an eight-minute walk to a bus stop where buses (First Berkshire & The Thames Valley route 8) go to central Windsor, Slough and Heathrow Airport terminal five every half hour (hourly throughout the night).
