Frome railway station is on the Heart of Wessex Line, which connects Bristol with Weymouth and it has direct rail services to Bristol, Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Dorchester, London Paddington, Reading, Weymouth and Yeoville.
There are several direct trains from London Paddington every day and hourly services to Bristol and Weymouth.
Most rail services are operated by GWR.
The station is a Grade II listed building and is one of Britain’s oldest through train shed railway stations still in operation. Station facilities include toilets, a ticket office and ticket machines but it is a small station so you won’t find anywhere in the station where you can eat or drink. Step-free access is available to both platforms.
The station is around a 12-minute walk east of the town centre.
