Holiday Inn Express Bath

It is a modern hotel with 145 guest rooms on four floors. All rooms have comfortable beds, a work desk, a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. Seven of the rooms are wheelchair accessible.

The Great Room is the bar and lounge near the hotel’s reception area where the Express Start buffet breakfast, which is included in your room rate, is served every morning. You can also enjoy lunch and dinner at the hotel’s bar/restaurant.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The guest rooms were last renovated in 2017 and the hotel’s public areas were last renovated in 2018.

There is free wired internet access in all rooms, but Wi-Fi wireless internet access is only free for IHG One Rewards members. It is free to join the IHG loyalty programme and free Wi-Fi is available to all members, even those on the entry-level tier.

The hotel is located on Lower Bristol Road (the A36), around a 15-minute walk southwest of the city centre. Although it is not the most charming part of town, there are plenty of places to eat and drink in the immediate vicinity around the hotel and the walk into the city centre is relatively pleasant once you cross the River Avon.

Car parking is available but it costs £10 per night.
