Each of the hotel’s 210 guest bedrooms comes with either a double bed, two single beds or a double bed with a single bunk above it. Rooms also have a flat-screen television, a small desk and an en suite bathroom with a shower. All rooms include free Wi-Fi wireless internet access.

Other facilities at this hotel are fairly basic and consist mainly of a coffee machine and vending machines near the reception area plus a counter where a buffet breakfast is served in the morning. Breakfast is not included in the basic room rate.

It’s a budget hotel that does exactly what it says on the tin. There’s nothing fancy about ibis budget, but it delivers on its budget promise with rooms that are simple, clean and cheap.

The hotel has a suburban location but it is close to Old Trafford football stadium as well as the attractions in the Salford Quays area, which include IWM North, The Lowry, The Lowry Outlet Centre and MediaCityUK. It is across the road from the Salford Quays Metrolink tram stop.

This hotel is right next door to the AC Hotel by Marriott, which has a nice bar and restaurant (nicer than the bar and restaurants across the road). So stay at the ibis budget to save money on your accommodation, but go next door to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat at a fancy hotel.
