    Latest news on Central Coach Station 2019

    High Peak and Eurolines no longer operate from Manchester Central Coach Station, there are rumours in the local press regarding demolition and redevelopment of the entire area, including the nearby Yates pub, and the coach station moving to a new site near Piccadilly Railway Station, which would be less convenient for passengers.

      Thanks. I've updated this information.

      Thanks for the update. I have confirmed this with Eurolines (who no longer serve Manchester directly) and High Peak (whose TransPeak service also no longer goes to Manchester) and have updated our information about the coach station. The rumours about the coach station being demolished have been going around for a couple of years now and a new station has not yet been confirmed. It is unlikely that a new coach station will be incorporated in the new development, which means that any new coach station will be less convenient for passengers.
