It is in a nice location, around 2.5km (1½ miles) east of the town centre. You can walk into the town centre in around 25 minutes and a 25-minute walk in the other direction will take you to the Helicopter Museum.

Although there is not a lot of interest in the immediate vicinity, you can find retail parks with supermarkets and fast-food restaurants just a 10-minute walk in either direction.

The hotel has ample free parking and it is only a seven-minute drive into the town centre, which makes this a good accommodation option if you’re driving.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and it usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
