The Roseate Villa is a small upmarket hotel with only 21 guest rooms in two converted Victorian townhouses. It is in a quiet spot across the road from Henrietta Park and most points of interest in Bath are no more than a 15-minute walk away.
All rooms have comfortable Hypnos beds, a work desk, a flatscreen television, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms with a powerful shower and Penhaglion toiletries. The rooms have a traditional-style decor, which is consistent with the historic nature of the building.
The hotel’s Henrietta Bar is a nice spot for a drink or a light meal and you can also enjoy afternoon tea on the hotel’s lawn. There is also a breakfast room; however, unlike similar hotels in grand Georgian or Victorian mansions, there is no communal lounge area at the Roseate Villa.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available but some people report that it is a little slow.
Roseate is a small upscale hotel chain and most Roseate hotels are located in India, although there are three in the UK: this one plus one in London and another in Reading.
The hotel is across the street from Henrietta Park in the Bathwick neighbourhood on the eastern side of the River Avon. It is a five-minute walk from Pulteney Bridge and most points of interest in Bath are within a 15-minute walk from the hotel.
It is one of the few hotels in Bath with a free car park.
